Dry Needling

Dry Needling is an invasive procedure where a filiform needle is used to penetrate the skin and release underlying hyperirritable spots in skeletal muscle, fascia, and connective tissues to help manage neuromusculoskeletal pain and movement impairments. It is used to diminish persistent peripheral nociceptive input and to reduce/restore impairments of the body structure and function leading to improved activity and participation.
